The food was good quality even though we had a set meal with no options. The bar was fairly lively and the staff were freindly. Nothing stood out but overall I got what I was expecting.
Only real complaint was about the timing of evening meals - we had to sit down between 6.30 and 7.00pm. Never experienced that in a French hotel before and it restricted apres ski activity. On our last night a very loud rock band were playing next to the dining tables which forced us to go out to a restaurant even though we had paid for hotel food.
clean, friendly hotel in good central location of morzine with easy access to transport and amenities.Lively atmosphere, goo dfor young people but not the post 60's
Rushing you to dinner and the boot and ski room is cramped, dirty ,wet and needs attention
Outstanding staff & dinner.
A bit more drying space in the room would be useful, especially after a day's skiing when things are wet.
Central location near ski bus stop. Food ok but breakfast a bit spartan. Staff tried reasonably hard.
Bedroom cramped for 3 people. The only communal area was the main bar area adjoining the open plan restaurant area so meals could be noisy. Expensive for what is offers but half term so probably not surprising.
Simple, clean no nonsense hotel in good location
Would prefer B&B or Room only rates
Location, friendly staff and the quality of the food.
Under the beds didn't seem to be cleaned.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and location of hotel is very central.
Room was very small and basic.
Pleasant bar staff. Helpful about a lost bag being returned to the hotel
Cramped basic room- a hostel not a hotel.Room not made up, poor quality towels not changed,Bin not emptied. Cheap soap, shower gel in sachets, no hair dryer /tissues in room Breakfast was extremely poor-cheap orange juice(no choice of other juice) no cheese ham yoghurt or even fruit! 2 cheap cereals and choice of hard bread or croissants only with low quality sachets of jam. Kettle for tea making and had to ask for milk. No hotel reception, this was basically a bar with rooms above and should not be classed a hotel. We stayed only 2 nights out of three booked and only ate one of the half board incuded evening meals having paid the best part of £1000,not exactly budget prices.Very disappointing experience.
Sitting on our balcony or having a glass of wine out the front watching the world go by.
The showers were hot
Shocking prices for the quality of service and amenity. Worst value I have ever encountered. Insisted on demanding half board, breakfast so bad we went out instead. Horrible dining area is just part of the very grotty bar around which the hotel is focused. Half board meals served at ridiculously restrictive times No reception, you have to queue at bar to get attention of staff. Room information was just a list of don'ts. Walls and doors transmit every sound. A complete rip-off.
River next to the hotel ....noisy if you have a room next to it.
